TEMPORARY POSITIONS

 

ADMIN SUPPORT WITHIN A CHARITY - COVENTRY

£7.50 - £8.00 PER HOUR

4 MONTH MINIMUM

This is an ongoing temporary role, covering sick leave.  The offices are near Coventry City Centre.  We require a commitment of 4 months until Christmas, but this could well be extended into 2012.  There will be an initial 2 week handover from Tuesday 30th August 2011, so you must be able to commence work that day.

Working for this well established charity, you will be the main administrator within a friendly team of 8 people.  Largely based in your own office, you will be assisted by a part-time administrator.

The position requires a capable and self motivated person, able to work on their initiative and be adaptable to changing priorities.

A lovely varied role including:

  • Answering the telephones; handling an average 30-40 calls a day
  • Filing, typing correspondence
  • Maintaining records and databases
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Entering HR records on the staff database, involvement with recruitment, referencing, correspondence arising
  • Occasional minute taking at meetings, previous experience preferred
  • Minute taking at a quarterly evening meeting

The role requires a good team player, and a friendly individual.

You will also be responsible for the reception area and greeting health professionals and visitors from all backgrounds, so you do need to have an empathy for people and the ability to relate to people on all levels.

Working a 37 hour week, the hours are 9.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, with a 4.00pm finish on a Friday.

Be your own boss, but still receive full training and support, with regular group meetings as well.
